Do you always read the rants under questions?

I only read the title question. Underneath that is too often a huge waste of time.

If the opinion is well laid out and typed in recognizable English, then yes.

I skip anything that sounds like one of those run of the mill repeated drivel.

    Depends. Sometimes, those details lay out the frame work for the meaning of the question so as to not get confused. Also, sometimes, a person might ask a question and someone will answer it without even understanding the point of the question and thus give a generic answer which doesn’t even touch the question.

    However, I will not read past the first few sentences if it becomes clear that it is just a rant.
